About – Leader of the Pack Dog Obedience

Leader of the Pack Dog Obedience first begun training across Gippsland in 2001.

Moving from the suburbs of Melbourne to Poowong North, where it all began, Leader of the Pack started with Dog Obedience Training Courses, Private Lessons and a Boarding Kennel. Over the years, held classes in Koonwarra, Korumburra, Wonthaggi, Warragul, Drouin, Moe (currently based for classes), Traralgon and Sale; as well as Private Lessons, Boarding & Training and Rescue, Train & Rehoming of Dogs.

Now adding a Doggy Daycare Service, for Socialisation. This is held on a half-acre, controlled home environment, under the guidance of a Qualified Dog Trainer/s.

As an accredited Alpha Professional Dog Trainer, I use their Lifestyle Canine Communication method for obedience training, because it works! A Pattern Learning System that uses a balance of positive and negative (as I always say “can’t have one without the other, that’s science”), we all use positives and negatives with our dogs, we just don’t always do it correctly or consistently. We also specialise in Behavioural Problem Solving and Rehabilitation of dogs for Rescue & Rehoming.

We train you to train your dog/s, we educate you to why your dog may be behaving a certain way. We do all this, because we love dogs and seeing the enjoyment it brings to people/families to have their dog finally, under better control and listening, fitting into the family pack environment and being able to remain their forever!!
